Our History

During the Revolutionary War, West Point served as strategic terrain for the Americans. The dog leg curve of the Hudson River at this point meant that British ships had to slow significantly to navigate the waterway. In an effort to maintain control of this strategic point, the American’s devised a plan to construct a “Great Chain”. The chain would stretch across the banks of the Hudson, forcing the British ships to slow even more, allowing the Americans to barrage them with artillery fire. The plan was a huge success – deterring British ship from attempting to navigate the Hudson.

Overlooking this strategic position was what is now known as Trophy Point. Home to the remnants of the Great Chain, as well as captured enemy artillery and many other trophies of war, it serves as a reminder of how the wars and West Point shaped the Nation.

Just as our namesake provided immense strategic value during the Revolution, Trophy Point Solutions serves as a strategic partner to its clients – providing innovative, adaptive, and flexible solutions, allowing you to hold the competition at bay.
